White Sauce – “The Basics”
Ingredients:
- 3 Tbsp. butter (#180140)
- 4 cups Milk
- ¼ cup Flour (#100150)
- Salt & Pepper (#110600 & 450430)
Directions:
- Melt butter. Whisk in flour and cook for one minute.
- Slowly add milk, whisking vigorously. Simmer for 5 minutes or until thick and smooth.
- Season to taste. Cover to prevent a skin from forming.
